Precon is excited to announce that we have partnered with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Along with other partners, including the University of Alberta, we will be part of a research project that will examine greenhouse gas emissions produced in the processes of design, construction, repair, and maintenance of underground infrastructure. As a supplier of structures for underground infrastructure, we want to ensure our product is at the forefront of green technologies. Our most recent advancement includes the switch to HSLb cement, which aims to reduce our carbon footprint by 10% in cement consumption. We advocate for innovation and are thrilled to aid this research project, which will contribute to the development of greener underground infrastructure in the future.
